Ayurvedic Massage
Abhyanga Ayurvedic full body massage is a synchronized massaging of the body towards the direction of the movement of arterial blood. It means massaging the body in the direction of body hair. Abhyanga Ayurvedic full body massage helps to increase the blood towards the most distal parts of the body and avoid overwhelming the heart through increased venous return if the massage is done towards the heart, or in other words, in the direction opposite to that of the body hair.Abhyanga differs from other massages in that it invariably uses oil for massaging the body. Unlike massage which is used more for recreation and relaxation, abhyanga is a therapeutic procedure in many Vata disorders.
According to Ayurveda, Abhyanga Ayurvedic full body massage supports healing, boosts energy, reduces recovery time after an injury, eases the pain, and enhances relaxation mood, and wellbeing.
